May Giveaway Day

Yay! It's May Giveaway Day! I've decided to giveaway my new cute little chicken creations!

I apologize for the yellowness of the picture. It was taken inside at night, I didn't want to miss the post deadline in the morning so I decided to get it done now (the night before.) I'll get a better picture tomorrow morning. Here's a picture with natural light.

My chicken creations were inspired by a little doodle I had drawn. I loved the drawing and really wanted to translate it in a crafty way.

How do you find inspiration for your craft/sewing projects? Leave a comment telling me about your crafty inspiration (or just your thoughts) and you could win my chicken creations! Yes, I will ship internationally! Deadline is May 31st and I'll choose a winner by random on June 1st.

Giveaway is closed! Thank you all for your comments, I really enjoyed participating in this giveaway! The winner will be posted tomorrow (June 1st.)

I get inspiration for the internet. I am missing that crafty gene.

  2. I get my ideas from the material I am using. Tulle, ribbon, prints on fabric, they all help, and ETSY. I see something there and try to re-create it but with a different flare. Thanks!

  3. I find inspiration in so many different places. I love to look at magazines, craft books, blogs, etc to see if there's a pattern I could make myself. I also take inspiration from family and things that have been created in the past.

  15. generally I steal --oh, I mean-borrow other people's really good ideas and then play with them to make it my own--but every once in a while if I am forced to work just from my stash I realize that I too can be creative. I am addicted to reading blogs and trying tutorials!

And often, I choose a fabric because I simply like it,and then after comes the idea of what to make out of it. So there the idea comes from the fabric ! And then, I do something else, and I have to look for a fabric to make what I initially intended to...
For knitting, ravelry is a must-search. I have plenty of things on my to do list because I've seen marvels on Ravelry...
