Barbie Clothes Part Two

Well I didn't manage to get all the outfits I had planned done but I did get a few more finished. My friend, Stephanie, volunteered to help and I probably wouldn't have gotten the last two outfits done without her help!

This cute peach polka dot dress which was super easy to make. It turned out cute but I wish I would have had some sort of embellishment for it.

This blue sweater and white pants. For the blue sweater I used and old sweater of mine that I was going to get rid of. It turned out to be one of my favorite pieces!

My grand finale was this gorgeous wedding dress, veil and bouquet. I'm so happy with how this turned out!

I used a remnant I found of a embroidered sheer organza and layered it over a white satin.
The sleeves are an already gathered ribbon and I sewed some pearls on the waist line, sleeves and veil. I even did some white ribbon around the edge of the petticoat and the veil. It really did turn out to be the grand finale I was hoping for!

Last but not least here is a picture of the outfits all packaged up and ready to give!

  1. Still can't believe how late we were up sewing these, making flowers, and putting together the house. How insane are we??? I love the pictures, but honestly, the are much prettier in person. Of course now that Aiyana has played with them.....not so cute and perfect. She loves them. Thanks again for all your help with the party and taking the time to come up with such a great gift for her.

  2. Hi - found your blog by way of Sew Mama Sew. Love your sewing style! My mom used to make my Barbie clothes when I was little, so I loved seeing your creations! Very nice!
